You should always "Set a High Standard for Yourself..."

Finding your niche is easier than you may think. Entertainment expert, Ron Greenfield shares his tips on how to find it and how to remain true to it.

The Creative Process: Exploration and Discovery

What do I want to do? Or, what can I do? Some of us have a sense of it from the beginning while for others it
involves self-discovery and exploration. In either case, it is a journey of one kind or another, filled with a variety of
experiences, self-assessment, and examination. - See more at: Aspects of Entertainment

How to choose on Broadway...

If you're planning a trip to New York City to see a Broadway play, entertainment expert, Ron Greenfield has some advice for you.

ON BROADWAY:  ONCE and THE GLASS MENAGERIE by Ron Greenfield
With the awards season in full swing, The Golden Globes, Critic’s Choice, and SAG Awards, it’s safe to assume that most people will continue to hedge bets and pick their favorites up until Oscar® night.
While in New York the other week, putting aside the “awards madness", I indulged myself and took advantage of one of the best things about New York – the Broadway Theater. While seeing any Broadway production can be excessively expensive, there is the TKTS Booth, located in Times Square and downtown near the Seaport Museum, where anyone can purchase tickets at half the price on the day of the performance. Two must-sees for me were Once and a new production of Tennessee Williams’ The Glass Menagerie.

Notes from New York City

Ron Greenfield takes us on a magic carpet ride through past and present New York in his latest post, Notes from New York City.
Notes From New York City
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon
For those of my generation there was no other like Johnny Carson. He had that mid-western charm and humor, his
second banana Ed McMahan, and Doc Severinson. Then he moved the show to Los Angeles, to attract more Hollywood celebrities. Then Jay Leno succeeded him, later the NBC debacle of turning over the reins to Conan and then back to Leno. Now it’s Jimmy Fallon bringing it back to the city over thirty years later. Does Fallon have the chops to pull it off? I don’t think so. Obviously he attracts a younger demographic, having cut his teeth and getting his celebrity on Saturday
Night Live, but does he have the sophistication and savvy to pull it off? That remains to be seen and given that it’s NBC and the network’s faux pas’ in recent years, it may be another disaster is the making. - Read more at: http://www.aspectsofentertainment.com/notes-new-york-city/#sthash.KTnCZUrK.dpu

It's all about Persistence!

Entertainment expert Ron Greenfield finishes up his three part video series with Persistence.
Purpose, Passion, and Then There Is PERSISTENCE.

As the final segment of my three part video series, the third aspect is Persistence. This is the action element. It is the part that will give legs to your goal or project – whatever it is you want to achieve or accomplish. Without it Purpose and Passion are meaningless. Facing The Wolf...

Entertainment expert, Ron Greenfield explores The Wolf of Wall Street. Will this movie win big at The Academy Awards, or will it get swallowed up by the other mega hit movies of 2013?

Martin Scorsese's The Wolf of Wall Street
"That is the crux of the story – one man’s rapid rise to unlimited wealth and with that, his eventual downfall. With stories
of this nature we bear witness and even revere the lifestyle – the homes, cars, clothes, and jewels. But what about the
other side – the victims who get swindled, the ones who lose their hard-earned, life savings." - Read more at: http://www.aspectsofentertainment.com/martin-scorseses-wolf-wall-street-academy-r-consideration/
